Through local block Grants and other resources, ABIL increases home accessibility, independence & safety for residents living with disabilities who are renters.This is a match program; therefore consumers are expected to contribute 10 percent toward the cost, either in cash, in-kind or volunteer contributions.  Licensed contractors provide modifications such as widening doorways, building ramps, raised toilets, grab bars, power-assisted doors and other needed structural modifications.
