Emergency Preparedness for People with Disabilities and Caregivers

Preparing for an emergency such as a power outage, fire, flood, or other natural disaster is not something most of us like to think about.  Despite this, the fact remains that the more prepared we are the more likely we are to survive such an emergency.  Even if it is not a life or death matter and the emergency is short in duration, a little planning and having some basic things on hand will make us much more comfortable.

Optimed Medical and Dental Plan

ABIL offers the Optimed limited medical and dental plan coverage to its personal care assistants working 20 or more hours each week.  This benefit is available after you have been employed with ABIL for 90 days. 

The Open Enrollment period for the Optimed plan is September of each year.
