Loan Closet
Arizona Bridge to Independent Living (ABIL) has a loan closet for durable medical equipment (DME). For those unfamiliar with the loan closet concept, we are now offering the use of durable medical equipment (DME) to our consumers as well as the rest of the community as needed.
The DME items being loaned have been donated to ABIL. This means that most of the equipment is gently used. Since ABIL does not have the funds for equipment repair and sanitation, all of the loan closet DME items are on an “As Is” basis.
The type of DME items available for loan varies depending on the items donated to ABIL.
Some examples of items donated to ABIL and available for loan are:
- Wheelchairs (power and manual)
- Walkers
- Canes
- Commodes
- Shower benches
- Hospital bed
ABIL always appreciates donated DME in good, usable condition.
Those interested in borrowing DME equipment from ABIL’s Loan Closet or those with items they’d like to donate please contact...
