ARIZONA BRIDGE TO INDEPENDENT LIVING RALLIES AT CAPITOL
TO STOP THE RAID ON FUNDING FOR THE FREEDOM TO WORK PROGRAM

Arizona Bridge to Independent Living (ABIL) executive director Phil Pangrazio and Mike Roberts, government relations officer, Arizona Paralyzed Veterans Association, discuss Gov. Hull’s proposed Freedom to Work cuts on Tuesday, April 30 outside the state Capitol. Arizonans with disabilities from across the state rallied in support of the state’s Freedom to Work AHCCCS Buy-In Program to persuade Governor Hull and the Arizona Legislature to retain 2003 funding for the program. Freedom to Work allows Arizonans with disabilities to work and still receive medical coverage through Arizona’s Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS).
