Susan Webb serves as unit director for Arizona Bridge to Independent Living’s (ABIL) employment services.  Prior to become a unit director, Webb served as ABIL’s Executive Director from 1990 - 2000.

Webb has also worked as a national disability rights advocate, supporting the passage of the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act of 1999. The Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act, which President Bill Clinton signed into law in December 1999, removes barriers to successful employment and reduces reliance upon government entitlements for nine million Americans currently stuck in “the system”.  Webb is also one of 12 citizens appointed by the President Clinton and Congress to the Work Incentives Advisory Panel. In 2000, Webb vacated her post as Executive Director to launch an ABIL unit focused specifically on implementing the Ticket to Work in Arizona.

Webb earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Wayne State University, Detroit, Mich.  She earned her Masters’ Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 1987. She is also certified as a Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Society of Human Resource Management. Webb is a resident of Avondale, Ariz.
